AuditionInbox

Privacy Policy: AuditionInbox

Last updated: 14 August 2026

The short version

AuditionInbox runs entirely inside your browser. It does not send your data anywhere, there are no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. Everything you save stays on your computer until you delete it.

What AuditionInbox does

AuditionInbox finds casting calls and turns them into structured records you can search, sort and export. Text reaches it in one of three ways, all of which you start:

1. You press "Scan this group" while a WhatsApp Web conversation is open. AuditionInbox reads the messages in that one conversation, scrolling back through it to find older casting calls.

2. You highlight text on a page and press extract.

3. You paste text into the extension.

Nothing runs until you press a button.

What it does not do

What happens to the messages it reads

While a scan runs, the messages in the open conversation are held in your browser's memory so they can be checked for casting calls.

Only messages that look like casting calls are turned into records, and only the records you approve are saved. Everything else is discarded when the scan finishes. The conversation itself is never stored and never leaves your device.

Data we collect

None. We have no servers and receive no data from you. We cannot see what you extract, save or export.

Data stored on your own device

Stored locally in your browser, and never transmitted:

WhatWhereWhy
Casting call records you choose to saveBrowser IndexedDBSo you can search, sort and export them
Your profile (gender, age range, base location)chrome.storage.localTo score how well a role matches you

Records may include contact details that were present in the text you supplied, for example a phone number or email published in a casting call. AuditionInbox does not look those up, enrich them, or obtain them from anywhere other than the text you gave it.

Nothing is saved automatically. Every record is shown to you for review first, and is only stored when you press Save.

You can export your records to Excel (.xlsx) at any time from the Database view. The file is generated on your device and saved by your browser. It is not uploaded anywhere.
